The links here lead to a few well-known sites that summarize and link into the most current and interesting articles on the web. Most are updated daily or at least weekly. Most of these articles are freely available on the web, but you may have to use the Electronic Journals List as well. The Opinionator
The Opinionator from the New York Times provides a guide to the wide world of newspaper, magazine and Web opinion.
Op-Ed Pages
Links to the opinion and editorial pages of many newspapers around the world.
Eurozine
Multilingual cultural e-zine that links up and promotes over 100 cultural journals from all over Europe. It includes non-English articles. If you want to see some instant translations, look at: Google Translate.
signandsight.com
The English language service of perlentaucher.de, the largest cultural online magazine in German language. They find and translate into English interesting articles from Europe on all topics. This link goes to their Magazine Roundup.

A little different is the section In Essence from the Wilson Quarterly, which summarizes articles in some of the more scholarly journals. Unfortunately, these links are not online, but the contents of the In Essence section is available. If you find something of interest, you can then access the journal through the Electronic Journals List.
